Transcriptomic profile of cystic fibrosis airway epithelial cells undergoing repair

Posted on 2019-10-21 - 15:39
Lists of differentially expressed genes (FDR 5%, FC 2) according to the comparisons indicated in Figure 2, Table 1 and Table 2. The lists were from a RNA-seq study comparing the repair process of human airway epithelial cells in primary cultures obtained from patients with cystic fibrosis (CF, n=7) and healthy donors (non-CF, NCF, n=6). Well-differentiated cultures (non-wounded, NW) were mechanically wounded and gene expression was studied at different times of repair i.e. 24h post-wounding (pW), at wound closure (WC) and 2 days after wound closure (pWC). NW and WC cultures of CF and NCF origins were also exposed for 24h to flagellin, a Pseudomonas aeruginosa virulence factor. Comparisons were done between Times, Groups and Conditions.
