IRIS: The Imperial College Storm Model

A 10,000 year global synthetic tropical cyclone event set created using the ImpeRIal college Storm model. As an input IRIS uses historical observed tropical cyclone tracks spanning the years 1980 - 2021 and so is representative of the climate of this period. The dataset covers the six major global tropical cyclone basins. The dataset may be used in assessing risk due to global tropical cyclone hazards.
