Thirteen 1-km spatially-explicit, global land suitability maps, referred to as “development potential indices” (DPIs), for renewable energy (concentrated solar power, photovoltaic solar, wind, hydropower), fossil fuels (coal, conventional and unconventional oil and gas), mining (metallic, non-metallic), and agriculture (crop, biofuels expansion) that account for both resource potential and development feasibility. Due to large file sizes and for ease of access, each individual sector DPI was compressed and placed within a correspondingly named zip file (e.g., Wind.zip). Each zip file contains: the continuous DPI raster dataset, the classified DPI raster dataset, the classified uncertainty raster dataset, all parameter descriptions and values (i.e., constraints, criteria correlations and weights, and AHP comparison values with the matrix consistency ratio) used to produce the DPI along with the full DPI sensitivity report. Additionally, a collection of four zip files (i.e., DPI_Inputs_and_Scripts_Part01.zip, DPI_Inputs_and_Scripts_Part02.zip, DPI_Inputs_and_Scripts_Part03.zip, and DPI_Inputs_and_Scripts_Part04.zip) were created and contain all input data and Python scripts necessary to reproduce any DPI.

Change Note: The misspelling of 'indices' in the collection title was corrected.
