Field-recorded data on habitat, density, growth and movement of Nephrops norvegicus
Posted on 2019-03-13 - 16:08
This is a tagging study of growth and distance moved in small lobsters on the Atlantic coast of Ireland. Size-specific growth rates and distances travelled from a release point are presented after one or two years; also size distribution data for an inshore population of Nephrops norvegicus; also catch per unit effort of all fishing, to enable density-dependent growth to be examined; also mark-recapture (v-notching) data; also acoustic bottom type classification of inshore fishing grounds; also sedimentology to ground-truth acoustic bottom types.
