An open dataset for human SSVEPs in the frequency range of 1-60 Hz

Posted on 2024-02-12 - 11:10
This study presents a SSVEP dataset acquired at a wide frequency range from 1 to 60 Hz with an interval of 1 Hz using flickering stimuli under two different modulation depths. This dataset contain 64-channel EEG data and questionnaire results on subjective feelings from 30 healthy subjects when they fixated on a single flickering stimulus. The stimulus is rendered on an LCD display with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. This dataset provides comprehensive and high-quality data for studying and developing SSVEP-BCI systems. The EEG data for each subject were stored in two different formats. Continuous EEG data are stored in the EEG Brain Imaging Data Structure (BIDS) format, and epoch data are provided in MATLAB MAT format. Questionnaire results are stored in both MATLAB MAT and CSV file formats for convenient downloading and usage. Additional information about the experiment, including participant details and electrode channel information, is separately stored in the "Participants_information.csv" file and "Electrode_channels_information.csv" file within the repository. A zip file called "Description" contains this detailed description of the dataset.
