Additional file 2: Supplementary Figure 2. pSer8Aβ and npAβ deposition in parenchyma, leptomeningeal blood vessels and intraneuronally in different Tg mouse models. Immunohistochemistry of 16 months old J20 (a-d), 14 month-old hAPP751 (e-h), 18 month-old PS/APP (i-l), and 27 month-old 3xTg-AD (m-p) mouse brain tissue demonstrates the presence of pSer8Aβ in leptomeningeal and parenchymal blood vessels in addition to extracellular amyloid plaques in J20, hAPP751 and PS/APP mouse brains, and extracellular and intraneuronal accumulation of npAβ and pSer8Aβ in the neocortex in 3xTg-AD mice.
