The dataset Data File.xlsx, is in .xlsx file format, and contains clinical data and data on olfactory dysfunction (25 variables in total), from 51 patients with the SARS-Cov-2 infection.
The raw data are in the spreadsheet Data-Table 1.
The spreadsheet ReadMe File, contains the meanings of all the abbreviated variables in spreadsheet Data-Table 1.

Patient consent: The nature of this study and its procedures were explained to all subjects. All of them provided their written informed consent to participate.

Study aims and methodology: The aim of this study was to quantify olfactory dysfunction by olfactometry in patients with laboratory confirmed SARS-Cov-2 infection. Patients from a particular Spanish health area with SARS-Cov-2 infection were recruited to study the loss of smell. Olfactometry was performed using the Sniffin Sticks test. The following clinical symptoms were studied: Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) symptoms related to infection, duration of sensorineural loss, subjective and objective score of loss of smell, and its temporal relationship with other systemic symptoms.
