Summary

The related study aimed to to clarify the potential benefit of preoperative breast MRI on long-term breast cancer outcomes in younger women (age ≤50 years) by constructing a retrospective cohort of 512 women diagnosed with primary breast cancer seen at the Lynn Sage Breast Center who underwent breast conserving surgery performed at Northwestern Medicine.
