(a–b) 4T1 cells (3X103) were plated in 96-well plates and treated with different concentrations of siRNA (50, 100, 200 nM) encapsulated with ELPs at 1:20 molar ratio. Gene silencing was examined by measuring BL (bio-luminescence) using IVIS (n = 3). (c) 4T1 cells (3X103) were plated in 96-well plates and treated with siRNA 200 nM encapsulated with ELP variants at 1:20 molar ratio for 48 h. Cellular viabilities were assessed by measuring WST-8 absorbance at 450 nm (n = 5 samples). The graph represents percentage of cell viability when compared to control non treated cells. The results are representative of 3 independent experiments.
