Formalin-killed S. aureus BM1006 samples (FKSA, 5 × 109 cells/mL) were incubated for 30 min at room temperature with 0.02, 0.05, or 0.2 mg/mL cCHP-Rh nanogel, and then observed using a confocal laser microscope. Bright-field, cCHP-Rh, and merge images are shown. Scale bars, 5 μm. Arrows indicate FKSA not complexed by the cCHP-Rh nanogel. (TIF 428 kb)
