Agarose gel electrophoresis (2%) with ethidium bromide staining of field isolates of T. evansi (obtained in the field). The DNA was amplified with a RoTat 1.2 VSG-PCR. Lane M: 100-bp marker; Lane 1: negative control; Lane 2: positive control (T. evansi); Lanes 4–8 and 10–11: positives for T. evansi (488 bp); Lanes 3 and 9: negative samples. (TIF 86 kb)
