To investigate the prevalence of sarcopenia and the relationship between sarcopenia and phase angle as well as other nutritional indicators such as BMI and albumin levels in kidney transplant recipients.</div><div>2. To evaluate the discrimination performance of these nutritional indicators for sarcopenia in kidney transplant recipients.</div><div>A total of 210 kidney transplant recipients were enrolled in this study. </div><div>Sarcopenia was diagnosed by low muscle mass (skeletal muscle mass index) and either low muscle strength (handgrip strength) or low physical performance.</div><div>Muscle strength and physical performance measurements (such as gait speed) and bioimpedance (skeletal muscle mass and phase angle) and biochemical measurements (such as hemoglobin and albumin levels) were also taken.</div><div>Categorical variables were expressed as count and percentage, and continuous variables were expressed as median and interquartile range (IQR).
